What Was So Special?

"Alanna knew me and my work from her extensive theatre activities where I had been the photographer. One day, after a rehearsal that I photographed, Alanna went home and announced to her mother that she had HIRED me to be her Bat Mitzvah photographer. A bit confused and not exactly sure what her daughter had said to me, Heidi called me, told me what Alanna had told her, and we both had a great laugh. I replied something like, 'Well, she didn't say anything to me about this, but it sure sounds like a great idea!' I've now become an adopted member of the family and loved being at Alanna's Bat Mitzvah to capture all the beautiful and emotional moments of the day. And being a father of two girls myself, I know how important a portrait of Daddy and his Little Girl is. And this is one of my favorites!"
